"Jay Leno's Garage" is the nbc.com online series that gives viewers a chance to "get under the hood" with rare access to "The Tonight Show" host's vaunted and varied classic auto collection. Each week, Leno will pull the wraps off some of his favorite cars, give some mechanical tips -- and answer viewer questions.
In the first webisode, Leno takes viewers for a spin on his 1941 American-LaFrance triple combination Series 600 pumper – more recognizable as a vintage red fire truck. The eye-catching truck was in complete disrepair when Leno and his crew salvaged it and restored it to its former glory. In the coming weeks, he'll cover his MTT Jet Bike, his Fiat Topolino and the one-of-a-kind Shotwell.
New webisodes will be posted each week with past webisodes available for review. Each will highlight a car or motorcycle out of Leno's collection and feature a segment called "Under the Hood," which gives hard-core car details from Leno's "top guy" at the garage -- Bernard Juchli. In addition, Leno will give expert car tips and answer viewer emails in the "GM Minute."
