What browsers are supported by the site?

Media Village is not supported by IE8 or earlier versions of Internet Explorer, so for optimal viewing please use Firefox, Safari, Chrome or IE9 or newer browsers.

How do I register?

Click on the REGISTER link on the top right corner of the site. Complete and submit the form for our review and we will respond within 1 business day.  Click on the link below for instructions for the easiest way to create your account and set your password: 

I had an account before, why doesn't my password work now?

With the new site launch in 2014, users must update their passwords once. To reset your password, click on the Login link, then click on “Forgot Password” and follow the prompts. Click on the link below for password reset instructions:

I forgot my password; what do I do?

To reset your password, click on the password reset button located on the User Login page and follow the instructions in the link below:

Will I have to reset my password again later?

Your password will need to be reset only if you forget it. To reset your password, click on the “Forgot Password” link on the login page.

Will I need to renew my account?

You will no longer need to renew your account every six months.  Accounts will remain active unless there is one year of inactivity. If that occurs, you will need to contact us through the Contact Support Form.

I tried to register but was told I am already a registered user.  What do I do?

You do not need to re-register. To reset your password, go to the Login page and click on the "Forgot Password" link.  You will receive an email with a temporary password.

Who is granted access to Media Village?

The contents on NBCU Media Village are for editorial use only for U.S. domestic press.  International press should contact their local broadcaster or Getty Images ( for press materials. [Canadian press - Please refer to our User Agreement].

How am I able to use NBCU photography?

Permission is granted to photography for use of the photos herein depicting the NBCUniversal program solely for editorial purposes in newspapers and periodicals to promote the NBCUniversal program only and for no other purpose.

Can I share my account with coworkers?

Account sharing is not permitted and doing so may result in your account being revoked. All eligible employees should register for their own account.
