El PASO, TX – (November 14, 2018) – Telemundo 48 El Paso / KTDO today announced that Carlos Sánchez has been named News Anchor for the afternoon editions of “Noticiero Telemundo 48” that air at 4:30PM, 5PM and 10PM. He will make his on-air debut on Monday, December 17 alongside Ivette Sánchez and Karla Mariscal.

Sánchez returns to Telemundo 48 El Paso after working as a news anchor for Telemundo 40/ KTLM in the Rio Grande Valley since 2016. While at KTLM, Sánchez covered important stories and events including hurricane Harvey, the earthquakes in Mexico and the Texas elections. Before this, Sánchez worked as a reporter for KTDO from 2014 to 2016. Sánchez has also worked for Azteca America Network in Miami, Florida and Channel 44, a local television station in Ciudad Juárez, Mexico. He is a five-time Lone Star Emmy® award-winning journalist.
