Las Vegas, NV – (December 28, 2020) – Telemundo Las Vegas / KBLR announced today that Claudia Simonés has been named Anchor / Reporter for Noticiero Telemundo Las Vegas. Simonés will anchor on weekdays at 5 PM and 5:30 PM. Her on-air debut is on January 4, 2021.

Simonés joins Telemundo Las Vegas after working with Telemundo 48 in the Bay Area as a Reporter since 2019. Previously, she worked at various Entravision stations as Multimedia Journalist, such as Univision San Diego from 2017-2019, Univision Palm Springs from 2015-2017 and Univision McAllen from 2014-2015. She began her career as a Traffic Reporter for Total Traffic & Weather Network in 2012.

Simonés has a diploma in Communications and Broadcasting News from San Diego City College in San Diego, California.
