Tops Competition By Double Digits In Key Demo
Nov. 10, 2020 – On the Sunday following the election, Meet the Press with Chuck Todd (MTP) was the most-watched Sunday show across the board, according to Nielsen Media Research.

Sunday’s broadcast featured interviews with Sen. Mitt Romney (R-Utah), House Majority Whip Rep. James Clyburn (D-S.C.), and Biden Deputy Campaign Manager and Communications Director Kate Bedingfield.
MTP averaged 3.690 million total viewers, topping of ABC’s This Week by five percent (+169,000) and CBS’s Face The Nation by +15,000. This marks MTP's best total viewer delivery in 22 weeks (since May 31, 2020). Compared to last Sunday, MTP was up six percent (+219,000) and compared to the same Sunday last year, MTP was up +13 percent (+435,000).
MTP also won in the demo most valued by news advertisers and topped ABC and CBS by double-digits. 848,000 A25-54 key demo viewers tuned into the Sunday program: +11 percent (+85,000) more than ABC’s This Week and +15 percent (109,000) more than CBS’s Face The Nation. This marks MTP's best A25-54 viewer delivery in 22 weeks (since May 31, 2020). Compared to last Sunday, MTP grew the most and was up +14 percent (+102,000) and compared to the same Sunday last year, MTP was up +14 percent (+103,000).
An additional 385,000 total viewers and 149,000 A25-54 viewers watched the Sunday program through a rebroadcast on NBC.
MTP also won in the influential Washington, D.C. market, more than doubling the competition across the board and winning every Sunday with total viewers in over five years (since March 22, 2015).
