Telemundo 48 launches ‘”Tu Voto Cuenta” campaign to raise awareness among border region Hispanics’ about the importance of exercising their right to vote

EL PASO,TX – (September 5, 2018) – KTDO Telemundo 48 today announced the roll out of its new, comprehensive, multi-platform Decisión 2018 election coverage by releasing the first of five wave of results from the station’s exclusive Texas Hispanic Opinion Poll conducted by Mason-Dixon Polling & Strategy. Beginning today, KTDO will unveil key findings about Hispanics’ opinions about the state’s Gubernatorial and U.S Senate races, the handling of U.S immigration policy, sanctuary cities, efforts to build a border wall and gun control, among others. The survey consisted of 625 registered Hispanic voters interviewed by telephone across Texas counties. The station also announced its “Tu Voto Cuenta” (Your Vote Counts) civic engagement campaign, aimed at educating and encouraging El Pasoan’s to exercise their civic right to vote and get involved with the political decision-making process.
