MTP averaged 676,000 A25-54 key demo viewers for the month of August and topped both ABC and CBS by double-digits: +10 percent (+61,000) more than ABC’s This Week and +17 percent (+101,000) more than CBS’ Face the Nation.

MTP averaged 3.127 million total viewers, topping ABC by +14 percent (+393,000). Just three percent separated MTP from CBS, which averaged 3.212 million total viewers following the highly-rated CBS Sunday Morning. Compared to last August, MTP was up eight percent (+244,000).

Note: CBS’ Face the Nation retitled four of their programs so far this quarter.

SUNDAY

MTP was the #1 most-watched Sunday show in total viewers and in the key demo this past Sunday, August 30, and was the only Sunday show to deliver more than 3 million total viewers for the second straight week.

Sunday’s broadcast featured interviews with Mark Meadows, White House Chief of Staff; Rep. Cedric Richmond (D-La.), Co-Chair of the Biden 2020 Campaign and House Democratic Assistant to the Majority Whip; Etan Thomas, retired NBA player, author of “We Matter: Athletes and Activism” and host of “The Rematch”; and Sue Bird, the Vice President of Women's National Basketball Players Association, Olympic gold medalist and Seattle Storm WNBA All-Star.

MTP averaged 3.046 million total viewers, +15 percent (+409,000) more than ABC’s This Week. MTP was also #1 in the demo most valued by news advertisers and averaged 671,000 A25-54 key demo viewers, three percent (+21,000) more than ABC.

An additional 931,000 total viewers and 202,000 A25-54 viewers watched the Sunday program through rebroadcasts on NBC and MSNBC.
