Nov. 17, 2020 – Meet the Press with Chuck Todd (MTP) was the most-watched Sunday show across the board this past Sunday, Nov. 15, according to Nielsen Media Research.

Sunday’s broadcast featured interviews with Ron Klain, chief of staff to President-elect Joe Biden; Gov. Asa Hutchinson (R-Ark.); and Michael Osterholm, director of the Center for Infectious Disease Research and Policy at the University of Minnesota and member of the Biden Transition Covid-19 Advisory Board.
MTP averaged 4.055 million total viewers, topping of ABC’s This Week by +16 percent (+568,000). This marks MTP's best total viewer delivery in 28 weeks (since April 26, 2020). Compared to last Sunday, MTP was up +10 percent (+365,000) and compared to the same Sunday last year, MTP was up +18 percent (+624,000). Note: CBS News’ Face the Nation was preempted this past Sunday.
MTP was also #1 in the demo most valued by news advertisers and averaged 959,000 A25-54 key demo viewers: +39 percent (+269,000) more than ABC’s This Week. This marks MTP's best A25-54 viewer delivery in 28 weeks (since April 26, 2020). Compared to last Sunday, MTP was up +13 percent (+110,000) and compared to the same Sunday last year, MTP was up +22 percent (+175,000).
An additional 421,000 total viewers and 179,000 A25-54 viewers watched the Sunday program through a rebroadcast on NBC.
MTP continues to dominate the influential Washington, D.C. market, more than doubling the competition across the board and winning every Sunday with total viewers in over five years (since March 22, 2015).
