Fitness challenge honors and supports health care heroes at Mount Sinai Health System and Academic Centers Across the Country

WEST HARTFORD, CT – (June 2, 2020) – NBC Connecticut (WVIT), Telemundo Connecticut (WRDM) join Yale New Haven Hospital as the exclusive local TV media partners of the #FitForTheFrontLine fitness challenge in the Hartford/New Haven market which honors and supports front-line health care workers who have worked tirelessly to save lives. As part of the nationwide #FitForTheFrontLine fitness challenge from now, until it culminates on Sunday, June 14 (Flag Day), individuals are encouraged to move, exercise, and get fit to increase awareness and raise funds to support health care heroes in our communities.

How to participate in the Fit For The Front Line fitness challenge:

  1. Choose a healthy activity.
  2. Dedicate your activity and promote it to your social media networks using #FitForTheFrontLine, @ynhhealth and @yalenewhavenhealth
  3. Post the local donation link #FITFORTHEFRONTLINECT.
  4. Ask your network to pledge support.
  5. Challenge your networks to participate in the challenge.

Funds raised locally will be dedicated to local health workers.
