MCALLEN, TX – (March 26, 2019) – Telemundo 40 Río Grande Valley / KTLM today announced that Antonio Rodríguez has been named Weekend Anchor for Noticias Telemundo 40, KTLM’s local newscast that airs weekdays at 11 AM, 4 PM, 4:30 PM, 5 PM and 10 PM and weekends at 5 PM and 10 PM. He will take the anchor desk on March 30, 2019.

Rodríguez has been with Telemundo 40 since August 2018 as a video journalist, before he was a reporter of the consumer protection unit Responde at Telemundo Las Vegas where he previously worked as a reporter and weekend Anchor. He worked as a News Anchor and reporter for KNVO Univision 48 from 2010 to 2014. A five time Lone Star Emmy Award winner, he earned a bachelor’s degree in Communications from The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley in Edinburg, Texas.
