TAMPA, FL – June 22, 2020 – With Telemundo 49/WRMD expanding its broadcast signal in the Tampa Bay area and TeleXitos network moving to a new frequency on June 22, local viewers using an over-the-air antenna are encouraged to rescan their televisions
, to continue receiving Telemundo 49 and local TeleXitos programming without interruptions.
This change in frequencies will not impact viewers using cable, satellite or on-line digital platforms to watch Telemundo 49 and TeleXitos.

Individuals using an over-the-air antenna can rescan their television by taking the following steps:
Starting, today Telemundo 49 and TeleXitos in the Tampa Bay market will air crawls during the regularly scheduled programming regarding the impending over-the-air signal change and the need for viewers to rescan their televisions. Telemundo 49 will also air public service announcements on their broadcast and digital platforms to inform viewers about the rescanning of their TVs.
