MIAMI – October 29, 2020 – New Telemundo state polls released on Thursday offer the latest snapshot of Latino voter views on the 2020 presidential election in Arizona, Florida, Nevada and Texas.
Former Vice President Joe Biden leads among Latino voters in all four states, with the narrowest margin in Florida, the polls show. The polling also includes voters’ views on the coronavirus pandemic, including whether to re-open schools and businesses in their states, plus other state-specific issues.
The polls were conducted as part of Telemundo’s “Decision 2020” initiative, a non-partisan multiplatform news and civic engagement effort to provide Latinos with comprehensive information and resources on this year’s election. The polls are the latest in a yearlong series of Telemundo local and national surveys focused on the Latino electorate.
A story about the poll results is available in Spanish at Telemundo.com. Highlights of the results will be featured on Telemundo’s morning news show, “Un Nuevo Dia” along with Noticias Telemundo’s national and local newscasts throughout the day on Thursday.

The Florida, Nevada and Texas polls were conducted from Oct. 23 through Oct. 26. In each state, a total of 500 registered Hispanic voters were interviewed. Those interviewed were randomly selected from phone-matched voter registration lists in each state that included both land-line and cell phone numbers. All of those interviewed indicated they were likely to vote in the November election.
