MIAMI – September 18, 2020 – Universo, the fastest growing Spanish-language entertainment cable network, is on track to close out the 2019-2020 season as the number one Spanish-language cable network in weekday total day among total viewers. Throughout the season, the network has also been the fastest growing Spanish-language cable network in Monday-Sunday primetime and total day among adults 18-49, posting impressive growth of 32% in primetime and 20% in total day within the demo. In addition, year-to-date, Universo is currently ranked as the #1 Spanish-language cable network in weekday prime and total day among total viewers.

  • The latest season of Acumuladores Compulsivos (Hoarders), where professionals guide chronic “pack rats” through the clean-up process and give them the tools they need to keep their behavior in check, increased its Friday 9pm daypart by +34% when compared to the 4-wks prior to its premiere this past July.
  • ¿Quién da Más?, which features groups of bidders looking to strike it rich by buying repossessed storage units, also saw an increase in viewers, improving +19% among Adults 18-49 and 60% among Adults 18-34 when compared to the show’s prior season.
  • On the sports front, airings of Premiere League soccer continued to pull strong audiences throughout the season, including a 33% increase among Women 18-49 and a 17% increase among Adults 35-49 when compared to the league’s prior season.
