PHOENIX, AZ – (December 7, 2020) – Telemundo 39 / KTAZ, today announced that Veronica Quintero has been named Weather Anchor and Multimedia Journalist for Noticiero Telemundo Arizona. The newscast airs Monday through Friday at 11:00 AM, 4:00 PM, 4:30 PM, 5:00 PM, and 10:00 PM and on weekends at 5:00 PM and 10:00 PM. Noticiero Telemundo Arizona is simulcast on Telemundo 40 / KHRR. In her capacity, Quintero will also produce special stories and reports for broadcast that evolves around the weather. Quintero made her on-air debut on Saturday.

Prior to joining Telemundo 39, Quintero worked as Multimedia Journalist and Weather Anchor for Telemundo Las Vegas from 2017 to 2019. Before this, she was a News Anchor and Multimedia Journalist for Telemundo Tri-Cities / KFFX since 2015.

Veronica earned a degree in Communication from University of Washington in Seattle, WA. Quintero is an active member of the National Association of Hispanic Journalists (NAHJ).
