Jean Villepique plays Michelle on NBC’s new midseason comedy “A.P. Bio.”
Villepique was born and raised in New Jersey and got her theater degree from Northwestern University, after which she moved to Chicago to study improv with Del Close. After performing at the iO in Chicago, she was hired at the Second City, where she performed in their national touring company for two years. She then wrote and performed in five reviews, including one at the Flamingo Hotel in Las Vegas, two on the ETC stage in Chicago and two on the Main Stage. She continues to perform regularly at the iO West and the Upright Citizen’s Brigade in Los Angeles.
On television, Villepique has recurred on “Veep,” “Baskets,” “The Office,” “Up All Night” and will be featured on the upcoming HBO series “Sharp Objects,” opposite Amy Adams. She’s also guest-starred on “Better Call Saul,” “Curb Your Enthusiasm,” “30 Rock,” “Life in Pieces” and “New Girl.” In film, Villepique played opposite Jeremy Piven, Jeff Garlin and Paul Rudd in “I Love You, Man.”
