Mackenzie Hancsicsak stars as 12-year-old Kate Pearson on NBC’s critically acclaimed series “This Is Us.” She is a two-time winner (2018-19) of a SAG Award for Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Drama Series.

Born and raised in the Los Angeles area, Hancsicsak started acting in local theater productions.  She was in summer acting camp playing Dorothy in a junior production of “The Wizard of Oz” when she got the call for the “This Is Us” audition.
